SUMMARY
=======

If a Microsoft Project toolbar contains a list box (the Formatting toolbar,
for example, has the Active Filter and Font Size list boxes), you cannot
position that toolbar along the left or right side of the screen.

Microsoft Project will not allow a toolbar with a list box to be docked on
the sides of the Microsoft Project workspace. Toolbars with list boxes can
be docked only on the top or bottom of the workspace area.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Toolbars can be in one of two modes, docked or floating. When a toolbar is
docked, it does not have a title and is attached to the outside area
of the Microsoft Project workspace. Toolbars can be docked on all four
sides of the Microsoft Project workspace. When a toolbar is floating, the
name of the toolbar is displayed in the title bar and the toolbar can be
easily moved by clicking the title bar of the toolbar and dragging it with
the mouse.

When you drag a toolbar near the outside edges of the workspace area, the
border of the toolbar will narrow--when this border narrows, you can dock
the toolbar by releasing the mouse button.

of the "User's Guide," version 4.0.
