SYMPTOMS
========

If you are working with a Money data file from a floppy disk and it is
not in the floppy disk drive when you enter a transaction, the Account Book
screen appears to go blank and lose all of the data.

Unlike other programs that save information only when prompted, Money
automatically saves your Money data file each time it is entered.
If the disk is not in the drive, Money returns the error message:

   Cannot Read From Drive

Money can no longer access the current data file that causes the
account book screen to go blank. At this point, you will have two
options, Retry or Cancel.

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct this problem

1. Reinsert the disk containing your data file into the floppy disk drive.

2. Choose the Retry button.

Money will now be able to save the information to the disk. Your Data
will then reappear on the screen.

MORE INFORMATION
================

If you choose Cancel, the program will ask you if you want to close
Money. If you choose Yes, Money will not be able to close the file
properly, resulting in possible file corruption. The next time you open
the file, Money will need to make repairs to the data.
