SUMMARY
=======
 
When you print a document in Microsoft Project, the last characters of
tasks at outline level 10 may be cut off when the following conditions are
true:
 
 - The Indent Name check box is selected
 
   -and-
 
 - The Name column is left or center aligned
 
   -and-
 
 - The Fit To (or Best Fit in versions 3.x) option is selected
 
WORKAROUND
==========
 
To work around this problem, do either of the following:
 
 - Increase the width of the name column until the entire name for tasks at
   outline level 10 print correctly.
 
   -or-
 
 - Leave trailing spaces at the end of the task names at outline level 10.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior in Microsoft Project 4.0
----------------------------------------------------
 
1. Create a new project with at least ten tasks.
 
2. From the View menu, choose More Views. Select Task Sheet, and choose
   Apply.
 
3. From the Tools menu, choose Options, and Select the View tab. On the
   view tab, select the Indent Name check box.
 
4. Double-click the Name column and set alignment to left.
 
5. Enter 10 tasks, and demote tasks 2 through 10. Demote tasks 3 through
   10. Continue this process until there are 10 levels of outlining.
 
6. Double-click the Name column, and choose Best Fit.
 
7. Print the Task Sheet.
 
Steps to Reproduce Problem in Version 3.0
-----------------------------------------
 
1. From the View menu, choose Task Sheet.
 
2. From the Format menu, choose Outline, and select Name Indentation.
 
3. Double-click the Name column, and set alignment to left.
 
4. Enter 10 tasks.
 
5. Demote tasks 2 through 10, and then demote 3 through 10. Continue this
   process until there are 10 levels of outlining.
 
6. Double-click the Name column, and choose Best Fit.
 
7. Print the Task Sheet. The last few characters of task 10 will be cut
   off.
 
The last few characters of task 10 will be truncated.
