SUMMARY
=======
It may be possible to recover the data from a corrupt or damaged
Money 3.0 file. If the original file can be opened in Money, you can
export the data into a QIF format and import it into a new Money
file.

MORE INFORMATION
================
To export the data from the original Money file into a new file:
1. Open the old file and switch to the Investment Account Window.
2. Export each investment account into a .QIF file.
3. Create a new Money 3.0 file by choosing New from the File menu, naming
   the file, and choosing OK.
4. From the File menu, choose Import.
5. Choose the Select All button.
6. Choose Create for each Investment Account being exported.
7. Once the Investment Accounts are imported, open the old Money
   file again.
8. Switch to the Account Book. Export each Bank, Asset, Liability, and
   Cash account into a .QIF file. ( Money will not import Loan Accounts)
9. Open the new Money 3.0 file. Import all non-investment .QIF accounts
   files following steps 5 and 6 above.
The new Money file is now created.
NOTE: It is important to import all of the investment accounts first.
If you export all of the .QIF files at one time, Money will be unable
to create the Associated Investment Cash Accounts.
Also, if you import accounts one at a time, Money 3.0 will duplicate
transferred transactions in your accounts.
