  - Microsoft SQL Server version 4.21

BUG# NT: 690 (4.21)

SYMPTOMS
========

On SQL Server for Windows NT, the "LAZY WRITER" process has a null
terminated string in the CMD column in SYSPROCESSES. All other processes,
both system and user, are padded out with spaces to the full column length.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server
version 4.21. This problem was corrected in SQL Server version 4.21a.
For more information, contact your primary support provider.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Some applications depend on the padded string behavior. SQL Administrator,
for instance, will erroneously display the process as "LAZY WRITER UN"
because of this null termination problem.
