SYMPTOMS
========

The Cue Cards in PowerPoint 4.0 appear with a black background and no text.
Several small buttons are visible, plus one or more colored triangles. This
problem occurs when you launch the Cue Cards for PowerPoint 4.0 from the
AutoContent Wizard or from the Help menu.

CAUSE
=====

The Button Face color in the Windows color scheme has been changed to
black. The Cue Cards' background color is always the same color as the face
of a Windows button.

The Button Face color can be changed through the Control Panel's Color
option. When you are in the Color dialog box, you can either switch to one
of the predesigned color schemes, or choose the Color Palette button
and change the color of the Button Face to another color. The Button
Face color can be chosen by selecting Button Face from the Screen Element
menu and selecting the desired color. The light gray color is the typical
color for the Button Face; however, you can choose whatever color you want.
