SYMPTOMS
========
 
Elements of a picture shift when you print it from Word to an Apple
LaserWriter or PostScript-compatible printer. This problem occurs when you
print a graphic in the PICT format, which contains rotated elements, to a
PostScript-compatible printer using Apple's LaserWriter printer driver
version 8.1 or 8.1.1.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
 
WORKAROUNDS
===========
 
Method 1: Use an earlier version of Apple's LaserWriter printer driver,
          such as version 7.2 or 8.0.
 
Method 2: Import the graphic into Word in the EPS format.
 
NOTE: Turning Background Printing off does NOT correct this problem.
