SYMPTOMS
========

When you choose OK in the Renumber dialog box, the error message "Invalid
Number" occurs.

CAUSE
=====

This error occurs if you use two or more separator characters consecutively
in the Format box of the Renumber command. It is valid to use more than one
number separator in the same numbering scheme as long as these separators
are not used consecutively.

For example, "I.A.1)a." (without the quotation marks) is a valid numbering
scheme. There are multiple separators, but they are not adjacent one
another. However, the numbering scheme "I.A.(1)a." is invalid because there
are two consecutive number separators, a period immediately followed by an
opening (left) parenthesis.

STATUS
======

This feature is under review and will be considered for inclusion in a
future release.
