Problem with LLE()

Product Version(s): 3.31
Operating System:   MS-DOS
Flags: enduser | buglist3.31
Last Modified:  2-MAY-1988    ArticleIdent: Q11583

Problem:
   The function LLE() does not handle the characters "z" and "Z"
correctly if they are embedded in a string. If the function is given
two single characters to compare, it will return the correct value.

Response:
   Microsoft confirmed this to be a problem in Version 3.31 of the
FORTRAN compiler. The problem was corrected in Version 4.00.
