SYMPTOMS
========

Depending on where your insertion point is when you begin spell
checking a document, the spelling checker may or may not catch the
existence of
repeated words. If the insertion point is between two repeated words
when you start the spelling checker, the words will not be found.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Steps to Reproduce Problem
--------------------------

1. Create a new Word Processor document in Works.

2. Type the following text:

      Mary had a little little lamb.

3. Place your insertion point (text cursor) between the two instances
   of the word "little."

4. From the Tools menu, choose Spelling.

5. The spelling checker checks the second instance of "little" and the word
   "lamb," then generates the following message:

       Continue checking at the beginning of the document?

6. Choose OK.

The spelling checker returns to the beginning of the document and checks
the words "Mary had a little," and then stops at the point where it
originally started. For this reason, the duplication of the word
"little" is never noticed.
