SYMPTOMS
========

Tabs will not align properly in a centered or right-aligned paragraph.

CAUSE
=====

When you combine tabs stops with a centered or right-aligned paragraph,
Word aligns the tabs first and then centers or right-aligns the entire
paragraph, including the tabs. This causes them to align incorrectly.

RESOLUTION
==========

Avoid using tab settings in centered and right-aligned paragraphs. Instead,
use a combination of centered and right-aligned tab stops in a left-aligned
paragraph to achieve the desired format.

For more information about setting tab stops in a paragraph, see pages 158-
162 in the "Microsoft Word User's Guide."
