SYMPTOMS
========

If you add a Pause command to the middle of a Works version 3.0 for MS-DOS
Communications module sign-on script, and save the Communications (.WCM)
file, Works may not be able to open the file. When you try to reopen
the file, Works may display an "End of File not valid" error message,
and the file may not open.

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct the problem, you must re-create the Communications file.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works version 3.0 for MS-
DOS. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
