Symptoms

Print jobs from Macintosh clients become stuck in the print queue after you upgrade to LAN Manager 2.2b.

Cause

Setup may have removed the PSCRIPT driver, PSCRIPT.DRV. Check the directory C:\OS2\DLL\PSCRIPT (which exists if Print Manager uses PSCRIPT.DRV) to make sure PSCRIPT.DRV is present.

Resolution

Use the patch's README.TXT instructions to decompress the file and copy it to the \LANMAN\DRIVERS directory. There are two steps:

  1. Copy PSCRIPT.DRV to C:\LANMAN\DRIVERS subdirectory. From drive A:\ use the command:
          DECOMP -f pscript.ex$ c:\lanman\drivers\pscript.drv

  2. Copy the new PSCRIPT.DRV to the C:\OS2\DLL\PSCRIPT directory.
