1. Q. Can I add new graphic files to the Microsoft ClipArt Gallery
      that ships with PowerPoint 4.0?
 
   A. To add new graphic files to Microsoft ClipArt Gallery, follow
      these four steps:
 
      1. From the Insert menu in PowerPoint 4.0, choose ClipArt.
 
      2. In the ClipArt Gallery window, choose the Options button.
 
      3. Choose the Add button.
 
      4. You may now choose the clip art you want to add.
 
      NOTE: Microsoft PowerPoint 4.0 for the Macintosh will read the
      following five picture formats to insert new graphics into
      ClipArt Gallery:
 
       - PICT
       - TIFF
       - EPS
       - WMF
       - EPSF
 
2. Q. Can I apply more than one template to my PowerPoint 4.0
      presentation?
 
   A. Although only one template can be applied to a presentation, you
      can create the look of having multiple templates in a single

3. Q. I noticed that Windows PowerPoint 4.0 for Windows has a
      branching feature. How can I accomplish this in PowerPoint 4.0
      for the Macintosh?
 
   A. Microsoft PowerPoint 4.0 for the Macintosh does not have any
      branching capabilities.
 
4. Q. I completely messed up my toolbars. Is there a way I can reset
      them to the default toolbars?
 
   A. Perform one of the following two steps to reset your toolbar.
 
      1. Delete the PowerPoint Settings (4) file from the Preferences
         folder. The Preferences folder is located in the System Folder
         on your hard drive.
 
          -or-
 
      2. From the View menu, choose Toolbars. Select the toolbar you
         want to reset, and choose the Reset button.
 
5. Q. When I choose the buttons to insert a Word table or Excel
      spreadsheet, I receive the message:
 
         Server application, source file or item cannot be found. Make
         sure the application has been properly installed and has not
         been deleted, moved, or renamed.
 
   A. The buttons on the toolbar to insert a Word table or an Excel
      spreadsheet will only be available if Word 6.0 and Excel 5.0 are
      installed on your machine.
 
6. Q. How can I show my presentation on a computer that does not have
      PowerPoint 4.0 installed?
 
   A. Copy the PowerPoint Viewer and the presentation to a disk, and
      run the Viewer on the other machine.
