MORE INFORMATION
=================

You can modify the Normal template to change the default bullets that Word
uses when you choose the Bullets button on the Toolbar or when you choose
Bullets And Numbering from the Tools menu. To do this, perform the
following steps:

1. Open the Normal template, NORMAL.DOT, which is usually located in the
   C:\WINWORD directory.

2. From the Tools menu, choose Bullets And Numbering.

3. Select the Bullets category.

4. Select the desired bullet character and point size.

Note: You cannot change the default setting for Hanging Indent By.
This setting will always be 0.25 inch.

5. Choose the OK button.

6. A bullet will be applied to the first paragraph in the Normal template.
You must remove this formatting or all documents created using the
Normal template will automatically have a bullet. Highlight this
   paragraph.

7. From the Tools menu, choose Bullets And Numbering.

8. Choose the Remove button.

9. Save and close the Normal template.
