SYMPTOMS
========
 
When you choose a macro name from the Tools menu, you may receive the
following error message:
 
   Qualifier Must Be Collection
 
Note that you can run the same macro from the Macro dialog box without
generating the error message.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This error message appears if the macro assigned to the Tools menu has a
name that contains 52 characters or more. If you want to include a macro
name on the Tools menu, the name must contain fewer than 52 characters.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To work around this problem, change the macro name to something that is 51
characters or less.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
