SYMPTOMS
========
 
When you try to copy information from a Microsoft Works 4.0 Spreadsheet or
Database document into a Microsoft Works 3.0 document nothing is pasted,
and you may encounter one of the following messages:
 
   There is not enough memory to save undo information. Do
   you want to proceed anyway?
 
   -or-
 
   There is not enough memory to complete the operation. Try
   closing other documents before trying again.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
1. In your Works 4.0 Database or Spreadsheet, select the information you
   want to copy.
 
2. From the Edit menu, choose Copy.
 
3. Create a new Word Processor document in Works 4.0.
 
4. From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
 
5. From the Edit menu, choose Select All.
 
6. From the Edit menu, choose Copy.
 
7. From the File menu, choose Quit.
 
8. Open Microsoft Works 3.0 and open the document into which you want
   to paste the information.
 
9. From the Edit menu, choose Paste.
 
MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works versions 4.0,
4.0a and 4.0b. We are researching this problem and will post new
information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
