SYMPTOMS
========

When you convert a Microsoft Works version 2.x or 3.x Word Processor
document that contains bullet marks created using the OPTION+8 key
combination to a Microsoft Works version 4.0 or 4.0a document, a bullet
mark appears at the beginning of every paragraph in the document.

RESOLUTION
==========

To remove the bullet marks from your converted document, follow these
steps:

1. Open the document in Works version 4.0 or 4.0a.

2. From the Edit menu, choose Select All.

3. Click the Insert Bullet button on the toolbar, or choose Paragraph
   from the Format menu and then click the Bullet Paragraph check box.

All the bullets in the document disappear. To add bullets to the paragraphs
that should have them, select the appropriate paragraphs and repeat step 3.
