 - Microsoft Money version 3.0
-------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY
=======

When you export a Money Account in QIF (Quicken Interchange Format),
voided transactions do not retain their amounts. When you import this
QIF file back into Money, voided transactions display as $0 amounts.
This is by design to comply with industry QIF standards.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Money maintains a record of the original amount of a transaction when
it is voided. Money can then unvoid a voided transaction and restore
the original transaction.

After you import an account, Money is unable to restore any transactions
previously voided.

NOTE: When you export a Money account in Loose QIF, voided transactions
retain their amount in Money versions 1.0 and 2.0.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE PROBLEM
==========================

1. Create a new bank account. Call it TEST1 and give it an opening
   balance of $1000.

2. Add the following transaction:

   Num Date Payee/Memo/Category C Payment Deposit Balance
   100  1/1/95   John Smith               399.00              601.00

3. Void this transaction. You will see the following:

   Num Date Payee/Memo/Category C Payment Deposit Balance
   100  1/1/95   John Smith           R   399.00             **VOID**

4. Export this account in either Loose QIF or Strict QIF format.

5. Create a new bank account. Call it TEST2 and give it an opening
   balance of $0.

6. Import the .QIF file into the new TEST2 bank account.

7. The resulting transaction will show as follows:

   Num Date Payee/Memo/Category C Payment Deposit Balance
   100  1/1/95   John Smith           R               0.00   **VOID**
