SYMPTOMS
========

When you use an accelerated video card at high resolutions, the area
along the coastline may appear to have blotches, or small boxes may
appear in the sea portion of the map.

The problem is caused by a conflict between the installed video card
driver and the polygon drawing method used by Automap Road Atlas.

WORKAROUNDS
===========

Use one of the following workarounds:

1. Use the Standard VGA (16-color), or SVGA (16-color) video driver
   provided with Microsoft Windows version 3.1 and Window for Workgroups
   version 3.1 and 3.11.

   -or-

2. Select a lower resolution video display driver such as
   640 x 480 x 256 colors.

   -or-

3. Install the most current video driver available from the video
   card manufacturer.
