The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft Works for the Macintosh, versions 4.0, 4.0a, and 4.0b

SYMPTOMS
========

In the Microsoft Works 4.0 Database, new margins created in the New/Setup
Form dialog box might not be accurately represented in the Printer Margins
field.

For example, change a margin in the New/Setup Form dialog box. Click Page
Setup, then Document. The margin shown here can be incorrect by
approximately 1/10 of an inch.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works versions 4.0, 4.0a,
and 4.0b. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND
==========

Such incorrect measurements should not cause any adverse printing behavior,
although you may get a message warning the margins are too small. It is,
however, a good idea to preview new documents margins before printing.

From the File menu, choose Print Preview. Make sure the changed margins
have not caused omission of information from the page. Adjust margins
if necessary.
