SYMPTOMS
========

When you print laser checks using Microsoft Money, the amount, the date, or
the payee name is truncated.

CAUSE
=====

This problem may occur if the unprintable region of the printer driver is
too wide.

This problem occurs, for example, if you are using an Epson Stylus
Color Printer with driver version 1.03. This printer driver has an
unprintable right margin of 0.38 inches. When you print Laser Wallet
checks, the last digit of the amount is truncated.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, update your printer driver to a version that has
narrower unprintable regions, or adjust your check printing settings.

To adjust your check printing settings, use the appropriate method for your
version of Money.

Money 99, 98, 5.0, and 4.0
--------------------------

To adjust the printing of your checks, follow these steps:

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

2. On the Print Checks tab, enter the correct alignment adjustments.

For more information about completing this task in Money, see your Money
printed documentation or online help.

Money 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0

Adjust the print alignment of your checks, use the PrintOffset option in
the Msmoney.ini file.

NOTE: For more information on using PrintOffset, refer to the "Microsoft
Money User's Guide," version 3.0, pages 106-108. For Money version 2.0,
refer to "Microsoft Money User's Guide," version 2.0, pages 224-226.
Information on PrintOffset is also available in Microsoft Money Help,
versions 2.0 and 3.0; search on "msmoney.ini file contents," in the "What's
in your MSMONEY.INI file" topic.
