SYMPTOMS
========

In Microsoft Project, when you drag information from a table in your
project to a document in another application, the last row that you
selected in the project may not be copied.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior occurs if the last two rows of information that you drag are
empty. For example, if you select three rows in the Task Name column, where
the last two rows do not contain any data, when you drag the selected cells
to a document in another application, only the first two rows are copied to
the document.

In this case, when you drag the information to a worksheet in Microsoft
Excel, the number of rows selected on the worksheet is one fewer than the
number of rows that you dragged from your project.

When you drag the information to a document in Microsoft Word, the number
of paragraph marks entered on the document is one fewer than the number of
rows that you dragged from your project.

MORE INFORMATION
================

When you drag information from a table in Microsoft Project to a document
in another application, the information is copied (instead of moved) from
the project, and it is inserted as text in the destination document. When
you drag information from your project to a worksheet in Microsoft Excel,
the cells on the destination worksheet are selected to indicate where the
information will be inserted. However, when the last two rows of
information that you are dragging are empty, the selection of destination
cells in Microsoft Excel contains one row fewer than expected.
