SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to place a border around all cells in a spreadsheet, the
computer stops responding (hangs). You also might receive Out of Memory
messages.

MORE INFORMATION
================

This problem occurs when an entire spreadsheet has been selected, and you
try to change the border format of a cell. If you select only a portion of
the spreadsheet, borders should function normally.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Works versions 4.0, 4.0a,
and 4.0b. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
