SUMMARY
=======

If the "Updating Task Status Updates Resource Status" option is selected,
it may cause incorrect resource assignment dates for a task if the
following conditions are met:

 - The project is scheduled from the start date.

 - The task is resource driven and has an ASAP, ALAP, FNET, or SNET
   constraint.

 - All the task's resource assignments have non-zero delay.

 - The actual work of at least one of the task's assignments is greater
   than zero and the task's % Complete is less than 100%.

Under the above conditions, the dates of all of the assignments for the
task are incorrectly shifted by the amount of the smallest delay.

RESOLUTION
==========

To force the resource assignment dates to be calculated correctly, change
the task % Complete and assignment Actual Work to 0 (zero).

To prevent the problem, clear the Updating Task Status Updates Resource
Status check box, or make sure that tasks with resource assignments have at
least one assignment with zero delay.

(The Updating Task Status Updates Resource Status check box is located in
the on the Schedule tab of the Options dialog box--from the Tools menu,
choose Options).
