At the request of many customers, Microsoft is making an evaluation copy of
the extended memory help compiler for Japanese help files available on
CompuServe forum WINTLDEV library 3. The file name is HCDOSV.ZIP. It has
been compressed using the PKZIP utility.

This extended memory help compiler, which runs under DOS/V, can help fixing
some of the "out of memory" or "out of file handle" errors frequently
encountered when trying to compile a large Japanese help file using
HC31.EXE.

This version of the Japanese extended memory help compiler is for
evaluation only. It has not been well tested yet, so it is an evaluation
copy only. This evaluation copy is provided "as is" without warranty or
support of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited
to the implied warranties of merchantability and/or fitness for a
particular purpose. The user assumes the entire risk as to the accuracy and
the use of this file. In addition, while we appreciate hearing about bugs
against it, there may not be fixes available in the near term.

NOTE: No extended memory help compiler is available for Chinese or Korean
help files.
