SUMMARY
=======

If you paste numbers formatted as currency from a Microsoft Excel
spreadsheet to a list in Bob Household Manager or Bob Financial Guide, this
action results in an empty column in the Bob application you are using.

When you first choose Paste, the currency may appear in the list, but it
disappears as soon as you choose Currency for What Will Be In This
Column.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Although you are unable to paste numbers from Microsoft Excel to a list in
Bob if the numbers were formatted in Microsoft Excel as currency, you are
able to paste the numbers into Bob if you format them as text in Bob.

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Copy the data from Microsoft Excel.

2. Switch to the Bob list, and press CTRL+V on the keyboard to paste the
   data.

3. Type a name for the column, and then choose Next.

4. In the What Will Be In This Column balloon, select Just A Few Words, and
   then choose Next.

NOTE: This procedure pastes the currency into Bob as text (even though it
looks like currency because of the dollar sign). The text is left-aligned,
rather than right-aligned as is usual for currency. This text formatting
may present problems if you want to paste additional currency information
into the column.
