 - Microsoft Bob version 1.0

SUMMARY
=======

The following lines are edited or added to the Windows SYSTEM.INI file
during Bob setup.

[386Enh]
DEVICE=DVA.386
DEVICE=VSHARE.386

NOTE: DEVICE=VSHARE.386 is added to the [386Enh] section if it doesn't
exist. If Windows 95 is the operating system, *vshare will be placed in
the [386enh] section.

Setup checks the SYSTEM.INI file's DISPLAY.DRV= line for either:

 - 256_1280.DRV

   -or-

 - 64K_1024.DRV

If either of the files is in use, and the version in use is less than
1.43, you are asked if you want Setup to replace the video driver. If you
choose "Yes," Setup backs up the files to

 - 256_1280.BOB
 - 64K_1024.BOB

then copies the 1.43 version of each file to the Windows SYSTEM
subdirectory. Choosing "No" retains the old drivers.

NOTE: Windows 95 uses a different driver than the 256_1280.drv or the
64K_1024.drv. Therefore, the check of the display.drv= line in the
SYSTEM.INI file will not find the older drivers.
