The information in this article applies to:
 
 - Microsoft Windows NT Workstation version 3.5
 - Microsoft Windows NT Server version 3.5

SYMPTOMS
========
 
Microsoft Office products such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word,
Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Access fail with a general protection
(GP) fault when run on an Intergraph TD series computer.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This problem occurs if the default printer is set to Iplot.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To correct this problem, do one of the following:
 
 - Contact Intergraph Technical Support for a fix at (214) 669-9680.
 
 - Connect to the Intergraph Corporation FTP server (ftp.Intergraph.com)
   and download TPD.EXE. Extract the file and use the new driver for
   the plotter.
 
 - Set the default printer to one of the standard printer (such as an
   HP IIIsi printer).
