SUMMARY
=========

Most Bob applications will not start if there is a problem with the
Regional (Windows95) or International (Windows 3.x) settings.

SYMPTOMS
========

Several different error messages can be generated by incomplete or
incorrect entries in the [Intl] section of the WIN.INI file. The
following is a list of confirmed messages:

   Geo Safari: OLE Automation no such property or method.

   Letter Writer: Terribly sorry, but something has gone wrong,
                  and I need to shut down the Letter writer. You
                  should probably close all apps, exit Windows,
                  and then restart your computer. Usually, restarting
                  your computer helps a lot.

   Email: No error message. The pointer changes to an hour glass
          and then changes back to a pointer without starting the
          application.

   Household Manager: There is something wrong with the way your
                      system is set up. Try running the Bob Setup
                      program again.

                       -or-

                      No error message appears, but the pointer changes
                      to an hour glass and then changes back to a
                      pointer without starting the application.

   Financial Guide: There is something wrong with the way your
                     system is set up. Try running the Bob Setup
                     program again.

   Address Book: The Address Book experienced an error (Error #438)
                  during startup. Please check your installation and
                  try again. Bob Error #0
