The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft Money 99
 - Microsoft Money 98
 - Microsoft Money version 5.0 for Windows 95
 - Microsoft Money versions 4.0, 4.0a for Windows 95
 - Microsoft Money versions 3.0 and 3.0a
-------------------------------------------------------------------

SYMPTOMS
========

When you use Online Banking to regularly download your banking
transactions, bank charges and interest deposits are entered into your
Account Register (account book in Money 3.0) automatically. If you
manually enter bank charges and interest deposits in the reconciliation
screen, you will be duplicating these transactions and your statement
will not balance.

RESOLUTION
==========

Before reconciling your account in Money, look at your Account Register
(account book in Money 3.0) to see if interest deposits and bank
service charges have been entered. If they have, do not enter them
during the reconciliation process.
