SUMMARY
=======

To open an AppleWorks file in Works for the Macintosh, you must add an
extension to the filename for Works to recognize the file.

 - AppleWorks 2.0 files require a .AW2 extension
 - AppleWorks 3.0 files require a .AW3 extension

For example, the file "Letter" (without the quotation marks) would be
renamed to either "Letter.AW2" or "Letter.AW3" (without the quotation
marks).
