SYMPTOMS
========
 
The README.TXT file contained in the compressed file AMWGPS.EXE, on the
Microsoft Bulletin Board System (BBS) contains incorrect information on
how to install Global Positioning System (GPS) support disks for Automap.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
Use the following instructions to install the GPS support files:
 
1.  Copy the AMWGPS.EXE file to a temporary subdirectory. Change to the
    subdirectory, type the following and press ENTER:
 
       amwgps.exe.
 
    The file expands into the specified directory.
 
2.  Copy all files except AMWGPS.EXE to a floppy disk.
 
    NOTE: As a safety measure, copy the file AMWGPS.EXE to a floppy
    disk. The file can serve as a backup.
 
3.  Insert the floppy disk into the drive. From the Program Manager
    File menu, choose Run. Type the following and press Enter:
 
       x:install
 
    where x is the letter of your floppy disk drive.
 
MORE INFORMATION
================
 
The file AMWGPS.EXE contains 789K of data that expands to 840K of data.
The total 1.63 MB exceeds the capacity of a floppy disk. As a result, when
AMWGPS.EXE is copied to a floppy disk and expanded, a Disk Full error
occurs.
