SUMMARY
=======

The end shape formats on the Gantt bars may change during Custom Gantt
Chart creation while using the Gantt Chart Wizard. This usually occurs if
you select a pattern other than filled-in patterns, such as any of the last
six pattern choices in the drop-down list.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed
at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and
will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION
================

When you create a custom Gantt chart in the Gantt Chart Wizard, end shapes
for critical bars are always mapped as solid regardless of pattern. If,
however, a pattern other than a filled in one is selected when you format
the noncritical bars, the end shapes for both critical and noncritical bars
are formatted as a dashed rather than solid shape.
