SYMPTOMS
========

When you send payment instructions to Online Services, you may receive
one of the following error messages, where <$> is the dollar amount of the
transaction, <Payee> is the destination of the payment, and <XX/XX/XX> is
the requested pay-by date.

Money 99
--------

The payment to <Payee> can't be made by the date you specified because
your bank or brokerage requires more time to process and deliver it.

The earliest this payment can be made is <XX/XX/XX>. Do you want to use
   this date instead?

Money 98 and 5.0
----------------

The payment to <Payee> can't be made by the date you specified
because Online Services requires more time to process and deliver
it. The earliest this payment can be made is <XX/XX/XX>. Do you want
   to use this date instead?

Money 4.0
---------

Your request to Pay or Cancel Payment of <$> to <Payee>
by <XX/XX/XX> was not processed. ERROR. It could not be paid by
<XX/XX/XX>. Online Services did not have enough time to make this
payment. Please make sure the Date/Time are correct in your
Windows Control Panel. Then change the date of the payment in the
Payment Calendar and send it again to Online Services.

Money 3.0

Then change the date of the payment in your
Account Book, choose Unvoid Transaction from the Edit menu and send
   it again to Pay Online.

CAUSE
=====

Online Services requires four working days to complete a payment
transaction. If you allowed enough time for the transaction, your
Windows date settings in Control Panel are probably incorrect.

RESOLUTION

current date by following these steps:

1. In Windows 95/98, click the Start button, point to Settings,

located in the Main group in Program Manager.

3. Correct the date.

4. Restart Money.

   be processed.
