SYMPTOMS
========

When you insert a floppy disk, or attempt to access information from a
floppy disk while Road Atlas is running, your computer may stop responding
(hang).

RESOLUTION
==========

Turn off 32-Bit Addressing to prevent this problem. The 32-Bit Addressing
option is located in the Control Panels Memory setting section.

For information on how to turn off 32-Bit Addressing, see your Macintosh
system documentation.

MORE INFORMATION
================

Macintosh computers using the Power PC computer chip can not turn off 32-
Bit Addressing because of the chip design. There is no workaround available
for these machines.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Automap Road Atlas versions
2.01, 2.02, and 2.04 for the Macintosh. We are researching this problem and
will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
