SYMPTOMS
========

In Microsoft Project, when you display the Confirmed field in your project,
the entry in the Confirmed field may automatically be set to Yes when you
copy and paste a task (even if you have not yet received confirmation for
the pasted task).

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the
beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post
more information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The Confirmed field indicates whether all of the resources who received a
Task Request message have agreed to the task assignment. The resources
return the Task Request with their responses, and the responses are then
incorporated into the project. If all of the responses are Yes, the
Confirmed field is set to Yes. If any one of the responses is No, the field
is set to No.
