When a daily recurring task is created, Microsoft Project allows a duration
of greater than one day. No error message is produced, and the tasks are
scheduled for the specified duration and they overlap.

The From and To dates affect only the start of an occurrence and how many
occurrences are generated; the duration is only a factor in how long a task
runs.
