SYMPTOMS
========
 
The Microsoft Visual Basic, Applications Edition, TypeName function should
return the names of object types in the Microsoft Project type library. For
example, in Microsoft Excel, TypeName(WorkSheets(1)) returns "WorkSheet."
However, if the TypeName command is used for any Microsoft Project class,
it always returns the "Object" type.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed
at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and
will post more information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
