The information in this article applies to:

 - Microsoft Automap Road Atlas for Windows, version 4.0
 - Microsoft Automap Streets for Windows, version 1.0
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

SYMPTOMS
========

When you try to load an Automap Streets map in Automap Road Atlas, you may
receive the following error message:

   NBAMW4V4 Caused a General Protection Fault in Module STREET.WMB

CAUSE
=====

Automap Streets was designed to work with Automap Road Atlas for Windows
versions 3.x and Automap Pro versions 1.x. Although most street maps can
be accessed successfully through Microsoft Road Atlas version 4.0, some
maps do not work correctly.

RESOLUTION
==========

Install Automap Streets into a separate subdirectory. The separate
subdirectory allows Automap Streets to run without Road Atlas.

MORE INFORMATION
================

The following Automap Streets maps do not work correctly with Automap Road
Atlas:

 - Colorado Springs/Pueblo (CO)

 - La Crosse (WI/MN)

 - Lafayette (IN)

 - Minneapolis/St. Paul (MN)

here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
