SUMMARY

After you install the System 7.5.1 Update on any of these types of
Power Macintosh computers
 
   6100/66
   7100/80
   7100/80AV
   8100/100
   8100/100AV
 
the Update Installer will replace the PowerPC Enabler version 1.1.1 with
the System 7.5 Update file.
 
NOTE: These computers are referred to as the "Power Up" line of Power
Macintoshes.
 
MORE INFORMATION
================
 
If the System 7.5 Update file is removed from the active system
folder, for example for testing purposes, the computer will fail to start
up either when you choose Restart from the Special menu or when you shut
down and then restart your computer. You will be prompted with the
following message:
 
   This startup disk will not work on this Macintosh model. Use the
   latest Installer to update this disk for this model.
 
To start you computer, you must start up from your System CD-ROM or System
Disk Tools disk and reinstall either a new PowerPC Enabler from the startup
disk's System Folder or replace the System 7.5 Update file.
 
The System 7.5.1 update makes minimal modifications to the Finder file as
well.
