SYMPTOMS
========

When you start Windows 95, you may receive the following error message:

   Unsupported Data Configuration

CAUSE
=====

This error message can be caused by a damaged Netware.drv file in the
Windows\System folder, or by using an incorrect Netware.drv file with
Novell's VLM (Novell NetWare Shell version 4.0 and later).

RESOLUTION
==========

Novell's VLM NetWare Shell requires the correct Novell Netware.drv driver.
For information about obtaining the correct driver, please refer to the
Novell documentation, or contact Novell.

MORE INFORMATION
================

This problem could occur if you were using the Microsoft Client for NetWare
Networks and then later switched to Novell's VLM client. In this case,
Windows 95 uses the Microsoft Netware.drv file used with the Microsoft
Client for NetWare Networks instead of the Novell Netware.drv file.

The Netware.drv file is located in the Windows\System folder. The Microsoft
Netware.drv file is approximately 2K in size. The Novell Netware.drv file
is substantially larger (usually over 100K in size).
