SYMPTOMS
========
 
After you install Windows 95, Advanced Power Management Support is not
available.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
You did not enable Advanced Power Management Support during the Windows 95
setup.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
Reinstall Windows 95 in order to copy and register the necessary files
for Advanced Power Management Support.
 
MORE INFORMATION
================
 
To verify that Advanced Power Management Support is enabled after you
install Windows 95, follow these steps:
 
1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel
   on the menu that appears.
 
2. In Control Panel, double-click the Systems icon.
 
3. In the System Properties window, click the Device Manager tab.
 
4. Click the plus sign next to System Devices, and then double-click
   Advanced Power Management Support.
 
5. Click the Settings tab.
 
6. Make sure the box to enable Advanced Power Management Support is
   checked.
