SUMMARY
=======

The Pack And Go Wizard packs a presentation using the MS-DOS 8.3 format.
Presentations that have long file names may be packed; however, when
you unpack them, the file names are converted to the 8.3 format. For
example, if you pack a presentation called My Presentation.ppt, the file
name is converted to Mypres~1.ppt when you unpack it. The name change
does not affect the operation of Pack And Go, PowerPoint, or PowerPoint
Viewer.

MORE INFORMATION
================

You can use the Pack And Go Wizard to compress large and/or multiple
presentations on a disk or network location. The compressed file
can span disks if the file is too large for a single disk.

You can use the Pack And Go Wizard to pack presentations to be played
on Windows 3.1 computers. Because Windows 3.1 and some types of
network servers do not support long file names, the Wizard always
shortens the file name to the 8.3 format.
