SYMPTOMS
========
 
When you send an e-mail message from The Microsoft Network to another
member of The Microsoft Network using the following format
 
   memberid@msn.com
 
you receive a message from the system administrator stating that the
message is undeliverable.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
The Microsoft Network does not recognize addresses that specify The
Microsoft Network domain (that is, @msn.com) when you send a message
to another member.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
When you send e-mail to members on The Microsoft Network, do not
specify the domain. Use the following format:
 
   memberid
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in The Microsoft Network
versions 1.0 and 1.05. We are researching this problem and will post
new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
