SYMPTOMS
========

When you create an embedded Microsoft Excel 5.0 worksheet in PowerPoint 4.0
running with Windows 95, the characters in the worksheet will enlarge and
overlap each other when you click outside the worksheet object.

RESOLUTION
==========

To restore the embedded Microsoft Excel object, follow these steps:

1. Click the Microsoft Excel object to select it.

2. On the Draw menu, click Scale.

3. Select the Relative To Original Picture Size check box and the Best
   Scale For Slide Show check box.

4. Click OK.

The embedded Microsoft Excel object should return to a smaller, unjumbled
state. If you want to change the size of the Microsoft Excel object now, do
the following:

1. Click the Microsoft Excel object to select it.

2. On the Draw menu, click Scale.

3. Use the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the scale.

4. Click Preview if you want to see if the resized object is the desired
   size. If not, use the up or down arrows again to resize it.

5. Click OK.

This process will resize the Microsoft Excel object proportionately and
prevent the text from overlapping.
