SYMPTOMS
========

When you increase the margin size on a letter you created in Letter Writer,
you may receive the following error message:

   An error has occurred in your application. If you choose Ignore,
   you should save your work in a new file. If you choose Close, your
   application will terminate.

After you select Close, another error message may appear:

   Letter caused a general protection fault in module S3flat.drv.

RESOLUTION
==========

The file S3flat.drv is a display driver used for video cards with S3
chipsets. It is possible that this error is caused by low system resources
in Windows.

One possible resolution is to free up system resources. To do this, exit
Windows completely and then restart Windows. Be sure to close any
applications that open from the Startup group. Then, open Bob Letter Writer
and try again.

You may be able to prevent this error message by obtaining the latest
version of your display driver from your video card manufacturer.
