SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to print a Map or a Table from within Automap, you receive
the following general protection (GP) fault message:

   NBAMW4V4 Caused a General Protection Fault in Module ATMSYS.DRV

This occurs if Adobe Type Manager (ATM) is installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

When ATM is installed, it modifies the System.ini file by changing the
SYSTEM.DRV line and adding two new lines.

For example:

   [Boot]
   SYSTEM.DRV=ATMSYS.DRV
   ATM.SYSTEM.DRV=SYSTEM.DRV

To resolve the problem, stop using ATM with Automap. To ensure that ATM is
not running, open the file in a text editor such as Windows Notepad, and
check the System.ini file. The System.ini file should read as follows:

   [Boot]
   SYSTEM.DRV=SYSTEM.DRV

For information about modifying .ini files, see your Windows printed
documentation or online help. For additional information about ATM, please
see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
