SUMMARY
=======
 
An MS-DOS-based screen saver is included with Automap Road Atlas for MS-
DOS. This screen saver can be turned on or off while Road Atlas is active.
 
MORE INFORMATION

The Automap Road Atlas screen saver is located in the Configuration screen.
The entry to configure the screen saver is located on the Other menu item
in the Miscellaneous section.
 
To access the screen saver, do the following:
 
1. Start Automap Road Atlas by typing AM or AMCONF at the C:\Automap
   prompt.
 
   NOTE: By default, Automap installs to the C:\Automap folder. If the
   location of Automap for MS-DOS is different than the default, change to
   the folder specified during installation.
 
   When using the AMCONF method to enable the screen saver option, begin
   with Step 4.
 
2. When the map is finished redrawing, press and hold down the ALT key
   while you press the S key (ALT+S) to access the menu item window.
 
3. Press the C key to select Configuration.
 
4. Press and hold down the ALT key while you press the O key (ALT+O) to
   access the Other menu item.
 
5. Press the M key to select the Miscellaneous option.
 
6. Use the ARROW keys to select the item Screen Save Time. The default
   time is set to 0.
 
7. Enter the number of seconds before the screen saver becomes
   active.
 
8. Use the DOWN ARROW key to select the OK option, and press ENTER
 
9. Press and hold down the ALT key while you press the E key (ALT+E), to
   exit the Configuration screen and return to the map.
