SYMPTOMS
========
 
When you run Automap Road Atlas version 3.x for Windows, the toolbar fails
to appear in the Road Atlas window.
 
CAUSE
=====
 
This problem may occur if you quit Windows while Automap Road Atlas is
still running as a minimized window, and if you save settings before
closing. The next time Road Atlas is executed, the toolbar may fail to
appear.
 
RESOLUTION
==========
 
To resolve this problem, do either of the following:
 
 - Upgrade to Microsoft Automap Road Atlas, version 4.0.
 
   -or-
 
 - Quit Road Atlas version 3.x, delete the file Express.wws (located in the
   Automap\Userdata folder), and then restart Road Atlas.
 
STATUS
======
 
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Automap Road
Atlas version 3.x. It has been fixed in version 4.0. We are researching
this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge
Base as it becomes available.
